All animals are harvested under Federal and State Government approved management programs. Australian Meats is committed to maintaining viable populations of kangaroos in accordance with principles of ecologically sustainable development. The kangaroo harvest is sustainable and kangaroos are recognized as a renewable natural resource.

The harvest is considered essential to the preservation of the Australian environment, which must be responsibly managed in order to prevent potential desertification as a result of excessive total grazing pressure. It is an essential component of responsible biodiversity maintenance of our rangelands.

Customer satisfaction is the foremost objective at Australian Meats. Our Quality Assurance Procedures program incorporates continuing development of prevention-oriented quality systems to not only ensure our products and processes conform to international standards, but also satisfy our own stringent criteria. Australian Meats complies with Australian Quarantine Inspection Service (AQIS) and market access requirements through the operation of a Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) based quality assurance program. This is continuously monitored and audited on site by AQIS. Australian Meats export establishment number is 340 and we are EU listed.
